Biography
Dr. Shereen Hamadneh has completed her Ph.D. through the School of Nursing and Midwifery, Faculty of Health, Science and Medicine, Edith Cowan University, with a specialisation in paediatric nursing.Shereen proved to be an outstanding Ph.D. student, initiating her doctoral studies in December, 2010 and completing her doctorate in June, 2014.Currently, Dr. Hamadneh working as the Project Manager, Infant Safe Care, Jordan.Dr. Hamadneh more than competently identified her research area in public health and pediatrics, and conducted an excellent multidisciplinary research project, using both qualitative and quantitative methods, focusing on a quality improvement project to improve neonatal health professionals knowledge of and practices for SIDS education and practice in Jordanian hospitals.She has also designed an intervention for tobacco use, targeted pregnant mothers and their partners in order to change their behaviors. In 2016 she won the first place of Arab award on pediatric medical research.
